Meet Chef Ginny
Swedish-born, her upbringing and dreams of becoming a chef and fascination with global cuisine began at the young age of 15, taking up apprenticeships in Osaka, Argentina, Budapest, and Austria. Ginger & Spice promotes flavor profiles from the Mediterranean, Texas, and Mexico to Cape Cod. Throughout her travels, she developed skills as a chef by experiencing food culture firsthand using the local ingredients and learning how they prepare traditional dishes or family recipes from chefs and home cooks. She then became a professional nurse specializing 20 years in cardiac and 2 years in endocrinology diabetes and weight loss.
Now, she is merging her knowledge of health science and the artistry of cuisine she has trained with some amazing chefs on the cape and has catered elegant dinner parties, boutique weddings, cocktail soirees, personal chef work, and health-spun meal prep. Her culinary journey has no limits. She constantly pushes herself to create menus that deliver the vision of her client's needs having the nutritional medical background, thus providing the highest nutrition using Cape Cod-sourced foods.
